Aoden Learning policies

Terms and Conditions

Information about how Aoden Learning operates and the standards that apply to our online tutoring service.

Website and online tuition

These terms explain how you may use the Aoden Learning website and
services, how tuition bookings are agreed, and what happens if something
goes wrong. Please read them before booking and keep a copy with your
booking confirmation.

1 About Aoden
Learning

In these terms, “Aoden Learning”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Aoden
Learning trading under i-Creatives Ltd. “You” means the person using our
website or arranging tuition. A “learner” is the person receiving
tuition.

Website: https://aodenlearning.uk

Email: info@aodenlearning.uk

Our tuition service is online only and intended for learners based in
the United Kingdom.

2 Which terms apply

These terms cover general website use and tuition arranged through
Aoden Learning. The Parent Terms and Conditions and the booking details
supplied before you agree to paid tuition also apply to that booking.
For an adult learner, references to the parent arranging and paying for
tuition apply to that adult where appropriate.

Specific booking details agreed before acceptance, such as the lesson
price, duration and schedule, take priority on those matters. The Parent
Terms and Conditions take priority on tuition-specific matters, subject
always to your statutory rights. A later website update does not change
an existing booking retrospectively.

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information and cookies are
handled. Our Safeguarding Policy explains learner protection, approved
communications, lesson-recording restrictions and reporting concerns.
Tutors must also follow the Tutor Code of Conduct. Accepting these terms
does not give blanket consent to data processing or optional
marketing.

A tutor’s engagement, fees, payment arrangements and contractual
responsibilities are governed by a separate written tutor agreement.
Using this website or submitting an application does not itself create a
tutor engagement or guarantee work.

3 Enquiries and free
trials

You may browse the website and enquire about tuition without charge.
We offer a free 30-minute trial lesson, subject to arranging a suitable
tutor and time. A trial does not commit you to paid lessons or
automatically start a paid subscription.

We discuss the learner’s needs and available tutors before confirming
tuition. Submitting a form or receiving an automatic acknowledgement
does not guarantee a tutor or confirm a paid booking. If we cannot offer
suitable tuition, we will tell you.

A parent, carer or other authorised adult aged 18 or over must
arrange paid tuition for a learner under 18. The adult making the
booking is responsible for the agreed payments. Adult learners may book
for themselves.

4 Booking paid
tuition

Paid tuition is booked with Aoden Learning trading under i-Creatives
Ltd. We may use self-employed tutors to deliver lessons; this does not
remove our responsibility for the service we have agreed to supply.

Before you commit, we will provide the lesson arrangements, total
price, payment dates, any minimum commitment, cancellation and
rescheduling terms, and relevant technical requirements. You will have
an opportunity to check the details and correct errors.

A paid booking becomes binding when you accept the proposed
arrangements, and we send a written booking acceptance. An enquiry
acknowledgement or payment receipt alone is not a booking acceptance
unless it expressly confirms acceptance. We will supply the applicable
terms and confirmation by email or another format you can save.

If we cannot accept a booking, we will explain and refund any payment
taken for it. If we discover a pricing error before acceptance, we will
ask whether you wish to proceed at the correct price or cancel. We will
not charge a corrected higher price without agreement.

5 Prices and payments

The total price will be stated in pounds sterling, including any
applicable taxes and compulsory charges. Any optional extra must be
expressly agreed before it is charged.

Payments are made to Aoden Learning using the payment arrangements we
provide through our secure messaging and management service or our
written booking instructions. Aoden Learning handles tutor payments
separately. Tutors cannot change your agreed fee or payment schedule on
our behalf without our written confirmation.

Your payment schedule and due dates must be agreed before booking.
These general terms do not introduce an automatic renewal, recurring
payment authority, late-payment penalty or cancellation fee that has not
been expressly agreed.

If a payment is overdue, we will contact you and give a reasonable
opportunity to resolve it. We may pause future lessons after notice
where payment remains outstanding. Tell us promptly if you dispute an
invoice so we can investigate; your right to challenge a charge is
unaffected.

Price changes apply to future bookings after notice and agreement.
Confirmed lessons remain at the agreed price unless you agree a
change.

6 Changing or
cancelling a lesson

Contact us through the approved management service or at
info@aodenlearning.uk as soon as you need to change or cancel a lesson.
Rescheduling depends on tutor availability and is confirmed when we
agree a replacement time in writing.

Any notice period or charge for late cancellation, rescheduling or
non-attendance must be clearly disclosed and agreed before booking.
These terms do not create a default cancellation charge. Any charge must
be fair and proportionate, taking account of the loss reasonably
incurred and costs saved or recovered. Your statutory cancellation
rights in section 7 take priority.

If we or the tutor cancel, we will offer a replacement lesson or a
refund for the undelivered lesson. You do not have to accept a different
tutor or an account credit instead of a refund. If only part of a lesson
can be provided, we will agree how to make up the missing tuition or
provide an appropriate refund.

7 Your cooling off
rights

For paid tuition contracted online or by phone, you normally have 14
days after the day the contract is made to cancel without giving a
reason. Contact info@aodenlearning.uk with a clear statement that you
wish to cancel. You may use the cancellation form below, but do not have
to.

If you want tuition to start during that period, we will require your
express request. If you then cancel, you may owe a proportionate amount
for services already supplied, provided the required information and
request were obtained. Merely accepting these terms is not an express
request to start early.

The cancellation right ends on full performance only if you expressly
requested early performance and acknowledged that this would end the
right. Completing one lesson does not necessarily complete a contract
covering several lessons.

We will make any refund due under this right within 14 days of being
informed of cancellation, using the original payment method unless you
agree otherwise, without a refund fee. Personalising tuition does not
itself remove these rights. Any legal extension of the cancellation
period remains available.

8 Attending online
lessons

Lessons and routine administration use our secure messaging and
management service. We will provide access instructions and any relevant
compatibility requirements before booking.

You are responsible for having suitable equipment and an internet
connection, joining at the agreed time and telling us promptly about
access problems. Please provide accurate information about the subjects,
examination board and learning goals, and tell us when these change.

If the learner joins late, the lesson may still finish at the
scheduled time. Any payment consequence must follow the terms agreed
before booking. If the tutor joins late, we will make up the lost
teaching time or provide an appropriate reduction or refund. We allow a
grace period of 5 minutes.

Where a technical problem prevents effective teaching, tell us
promptly so we can assess its cause, duration and impact. We will not
treat a materially disrupted lesson as satisfactory merely because the
meeting remained connected. Problems attributable to us, our tutor or
the service we supply will be addressed through replacement tuition or
an appropriate refund. Learner-side problems are considered under the
arrangements agreed before booking and your statutory rights.

9 Educational
expectations

We will provide the agreed tuition with reasonable care and skill.
Tuition is intended to support understanding, confidence and progress;
examination results also depend on factors beyond our control, including
attendance, independent study and examination performance. We do not
guarantee a particular grade, admission, qualification or other
outcome.

Learners must use tuition honestly. Tutors will not sit examinations,
impersonate learners or complete assessed work for submission as the
learner’s own. We can explain concepts, practice questions and give
appropriate feedback within the relevant assessment rules.

Unless expressly agreed, tuition does not include examination entry,
registration with an examination centre or payment of examination fees.
Learners and parents remain responsible for those arrangements.

10 Website use and
learning materials

Our website, branding and materials belong to us or their respective
owners. You may view the website and use materials supplied for your own
learning or to support the learner for whom they were provided. You may
not sell, republish or commercially exploit them without the relevant
owner’s permission, except where the law allows.

You retain ownership of your original work. When you submit it for
tuition, you permit us and the assigned tutor to use it only as needed
to provide the service and related support. This does not grant a
general right to sell or publicly publish it.

You must not misuse the website or service, impersonate someone,
upload unlawful or infringing material, introduce malicious software,
attempt unauthorized access or interfere with other users’ access.
Follow the conduct and communication requirements in our Safeguarding
Policy and, for tutors, the Tutor Code of Conduct.

You may link fairly to public pages on our website provided you do
not suggest an endorsement or association that does not exist.
Permission is required to use our logo for your own promotion or to
frame our website within another site.

We may update the website or temporarily restrict access for
maintenance, security or operational reasons. Where reasonably possible,
we will give notice of a disruption affecting booked tuition and explain
the alternative arrangements.

We aim to keep website information accurate and current. Information
about your agreed service, including statements you relied on when
booking where legally binding, remains part of our obligations. General
website changes do not remove rights relating to paid services.

External links may help with learning or provide further information.
A link does not itself mean we endorse the third party. Separate
third-party websites have their own terms. Our choice of a provider to
deliver our service does not remove our responsibility for the service
we have promised.

12 Complaints and
service remedies

Please contact info@aodenlearning.uk with your booking details and an
explanation of the issue. We will investigate, explain the outcome and
discuss an appropriate remedy. We will keep you informed if further
information or time is needed.

If tuition is not supplied with reasonable care and skill, you may be
entitled to repeat performance at no extra cost, within a reasonable
time and without significant inconvenience. Where that is impossible or
cannot be provided as required, an appropriate price reduction may be
due, potentially up to a full refund. Other statutory remedies remain
available.

You do not lose your legal rights because you did not complain within
a short internal deadline, left feedback or attended a later lesson.
Raising an honest complaint or review is not itself a breach of these
terms.

Safeguarding concerns must follow the Safeguarding Policy
immediately. Privacy complaints follow the Privacy Policy. Neither
should wait for an ordinary service complaint to be resolved.

13 Suspension and ending
services

You may ask to end tuition by contacting us. Any agreed notice or
payment obligation must be applied fairly and remains subject to your
cancellation and other statutory rights.

We may restrict access or end services where there is a serious or
repeated breach, a safety risk, unlawful use or unresolved non-payment
after reasonable notice. Where appropriate, we will explain the problem
and allow a reasonable opportunity to put it right. Urgent protective
action may be taken immediately.

We will explain any effect on future bookings and payments, subject
to lawful confidentiality restrictions. Ending access does not
automatically forfeit money paid for undelivered tuition. We will refund
sums due and explain any lawful deduction. Lessons already delivered
remain payable unless a refund or other remedy is due.

If an event beyond our reasonable control prevents tuition, we will
notify you and take reasonable steps to reduce disruption. If we cannot
provide the agreed service within a reasonable time, you may cancel the
affected undelivered tuition and receive a refund.

14 Responsibility for
loss

We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our
breach of contract or failure to use reasonable care and skill. Loss is
foreseeable where it is an obvious consequence or was reasonably
contemplated when the contract was made.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or
personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent
misrepresentation or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded or
limited. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Our consumer tuition service is for personal educational use. We do
not accept responsibility for business losses arising from its use for
an unagreed commercial purpose, to the extent permitted by law.

We may update these terms for future use of the website and future
bookings. Material changes affecting an existing service will be
explained in advance and agreed where required. If a proposed material
change disadvantages you and you do not accept it, you may end the
affected future service without a new cancellation penalty and receive
any refund due for undelivered tuition.

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue
where they can fairly operate. A delay in enforcing a right does not
waive it. These terms do not remove legally binding information or
promises made before booking.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Consumers
retain the mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings in the
courts available where they live in the United Kingdom. Nothing requires
a consumer in Scotland or Northern Ireland to bring a claim only in
England and Wales.

16 Cancellation form

Use this form only if you wish to cancel your contract. You may also
